Admissions at a Glance

The admissions process for the 2026-2027 school year will include the following steps:

  • Get to know our school and learn about the cooperative model:

    1. Watch our Prospective Parent Video here.

    2. Review each tab of A Day at IPCP and the Cooperative Commitment. 

  • Submit written application (due April 1, 2026). Please note that all applications require a $100 fee, which is non-refundable.

  • If selected, attend an interview.

Important Notes About Our Application Process

Applications are reviewed in the Spring, and are considered for the following school year.

  • Prospective parent interviews are held in person, with limited Zoom availability for special circumstances.

  • Classroom availability varies each year based on re-enrollment, sibling enrollment, and the selected days for each family.

  • Ensure your child is old enough to join our community for this upcoming school year. For the 2026-27 school year, we have space available for children born between September 2021 - August 2024 (2 year olds and older).

Class Size / Teacher Ratio

IPCP maintains small class sizes to ensure maximum attention is paid to each child. Student-to-teacher ratios are maintained as follows:

  • 11 to 2 for the one-year-old class

  • 16 to 3 for two-year-old classes

  • 12 to 2 for preschool classes

In addition, Parent Helpers are in the following classrooms each day:

  • Toddler 1 class (1 Parent Helper is always in this class)

  • Toddler 2 class (1 Parent Helper is always in this class)

  • Preschool classes (1 Parent Helper is shared between each pair of classes)
