Toddler Lead Teacher
Ashley joined IPCP in the T2 classroom in March of 2018, taking some time in 2021 to focus on her home and the addition of her son, Arthur. She returned full-time to teaching in the T2 class in the 2022 school year and helped lead the IPCP summer program. Prior to IPCP, Ashley had over 3 years of experience teaching infants and toddlers at another local preschool. An Atlanta transplant by way of the Pacific Northwest and Michigan, Ashley left a career in operations and hospitality to follow her love of working with children. She has a passion for cooking, spends time outside no matter the weather, and tries to camp or hike with family whenever she's able. She believes that fostering respect and love of nature can help create more conscientious communities and aims to bring that focus to her classroom experiences.

She began working with children at Circus Camp where she taught aerial acrobatics and other fun skills like unicycling. She then worked as an assistant teacher at Frasier Center Decatur until she came to IPCP and settled down in the aftercare program while attending morning classes. Goldie is learning more and more about childcare everyday and cannot wait to see where her IPCP journey will take her! During aftercare, Goldie works to create an environment where children can play freely and explore artistic mediums. Goldie enjoys going on beltline walks, traveling, trying new food, watching movies, and most of all playing and working with children.
