Toddler Lead Teacher

DeDe is beginning her second year as a toddler lead teacher after also working as Assistant Summer Camp Director. DeDe has over 10 years of Lead Teacher experience in various preschool settings in the Atlanta area. She especially loves working with the toddler age group and supporting the fast and exciting growth and hands on learning that comes with the age! DeDe holds an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and is close to completing her Bachelor's in Early Learning and Development. She is passionate about implementing vibrant curriculums, collaborating with parents and families, and helping the youngest of learners develop confidence, expand their social skills and explore their many curiosities! She is excited to be part of a community that keeps play-based and nature-based learning at the heart of its mission.

Toddler Assistant Teacher

Amy is excited to begin her second school year with the IPCP family. She currently lives in Decatur, Georgia, but is originally from Ohio and Michigan. Amy has worked in education since 2011, when she was an early-morning and after-school teacher. She quickly found that working with children was her calling. She loves supporting each child’s individual development. Amy’s previous experience includes working as a program coordinator, lead teacher, and assistant teacher in schools serving toddlers through 6th grade. Some of Amy’s interests include spending time with her daughter and her dog, listening to music, watching pro football and documentaries, and traveling.

Toddler Lead Teacher

Ashley is beginning her fourth school year with IPCP and the Toddler 2 classes. Prior to IPCP, Ashley had over 3 years experience teaching infants and toddlers at another local preschool. An Atlanta transplant by way of the Pacific Northwest and Michigan, Ashley left a career in operations and hospitality to follow her love of working with children. She has a passion for cooking and loves spending time outdoors in her garden or on a hike. When not caring for our IPCP family, Ashley spends her time adventuring with her son, husband, and pup.

Toddler Lead Teacher

Katie joined IPCP at the start of the 2021-2022 school year. After a decade of living in Europe and working in academic administration, she moved back to the States and began teaching at a local Montessori school in Atlanta. Katie comes from a long line of musicians and is currently pursuing certification to become a music practitioner. She has experience working in ABA therapy, which provides research-based treatment plans for children with autism. When she is not working, she is writing music, cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors. Katie has one daughter, Elizabeth. They live in Atlanta, together with their oversized cat, Clementine.

Toddler Assistant Teacher

Mariann is joining IPCP for the 2022-2023 school year. Originally from Chicago, she has lived in Atlanta since 1988. Mariann has been working and playing with children for over 20 years; teaching, tutoring, and nannying children from infants to age 10. Although she has had much experience with public elementary school, she is extremely excited to begin this new chapter at IPCP by following the children’s lead! Mariann lives in Grant Park with her two cats and enjoys walks on the beltline and in the park.

Multiclassroom Teacher

Ginger is happily celebrating her third school year at IPCP in the role of Multiclassroom Teacher this year. She has over 20 years of experience with children ranging from infancy to middle school-age children, in the fields of general and special education. She also piloted the first STEM program for elementary school-age children anywhere in the nation for Cobb County Schools. Ginger received her Bachelors of Science in Education from the University of Vermont, which is in the Green Mountain State. Vermont is also her beloved home state. She has been an Atlanta, Georgia transplant since 2003 and lives with her cherished pup and almost as cherished husband. In her spare time, Ginger enjoys reading mysteries and biographies, watching movies, singing, dancing, taking the occasional online course, walking with her family, and attempting ventriloquism while puppeteering.

AfterCare Assistant Teacher

Before joining the IPCP community, Feltina had experience working with Oak Leaf School as a Lead teacher with toddlers, preschoolers, and infants. She has also raised her now 21 year old nephew from age 11 month while finishing out her high school year. Feltina owns a nonprofit organization that assists with grassroot work. Feltina is excited for the opportunity to continue making a difference in the lives of children through early childhood education. Feltina enjoys reading, education, nature, behavioral psychology and acquiring different health tips.
